Streets of Solidarity: The Palestine Rallies in London
Over the past years, London has witnessed some of the largest public demonstrations in its modern history, as hundreds of thousands marched through the capital calling for peace, human rights, and justice for Palestine. Stretching from Hyde Park to Whitehall, these mass gatherings transformed the city’s major arteries into a continuous visual statement of global concern and collective grief.
Approaching these demonstrations as an independent photojournalist, my objective was to look beyond the sheer scale of the crowds and capture the human element within the movement. Through my viewfinder, I focused on the diverse tapestry of participants—families, elders, and youth from all walks of life—united by a shared sense of urgency. The frames in this series document the emotional intensity of the marches, from the quiet weight of mourning to the resolute voices demanding an end to human suffering, preserving a critical chapter of contemporary social history on the streets of London.
